Portfolio & Testimonials

This page is dedicated to client referrals and links to websites and books I've worked on.

So I know that this is very sparse but the reason is that I work with a small group of repeat clients as well as a small US-based publisher. My clients know my skills and abilities and I offer a free sample edit for new clients so that we can evaluate if we make a good team.

I don't just work only on books. I work with AUTHORS! I'm always available for the clients I take on.

Authors I work with.

Palmer Pickering:

Tracey is a key member of my editorial team and has provided invaluable
insights for all my published books in the speculative fiction genre. She
is my first stop for developmental editing, then follows up with further
editorial reviews such as copy editing, proofreading, and galley reviews.
She has a keen sense for story and a practiced eye for detail. She is
professional, prompt, and competitively priced. A joy to work with. Highly
recommended.

Regards,
Palmer Pickering

"I first worked with Tracey a number of years ago on what was to become my first published book, Tiger of Talmare. Her wonderful insights into story, character, and dialogue were invaluable and made a huge contribution to getting the book into shape. I’ve worked with her on other books since and am always impressed by how clearly she identifies the strengths and weaknesses in a story." Nina Croft

KBoards writers cafe

Hi, everybody. I wanted to tell you about a great experience I had with one of our very own KBoarders who edited my latest book. You might know her as Tracey Edits and she's very good, great attention to detail, and she really helped me zero in and correct problems and even found a few that I didn't think were issues, but turned out to be after all. So if you're looking for a good editor, give her a try.

Thank you so much for your prompt and helpful editing on the manuscript, I think it really made a difference to the finished product!
Thanks

  1. I have been a client of Tracey Edits for around a year and a half now, and I have to say that working with her has been an absolute pleasure. She is extremely detail-oriented and meticulous about her work, and I have always been confident in her ability to polish my manuscript to a high standard.

One of the things that I appreciate most about Tracey is her professionalism. She is always prompt and efficient in her communications, and she has a very clear and transparent process that makes it easy to stay on track with our project timeline.

Overall, I would highly recommend Tracey Edits to anyone looking for a top-notch editor. With her attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent communication skills, she is a true asset to any publishing team. I plan to continue working with Tracey in the future, and I have no doubt that you will be delighted with her services as well.
